Solarize U is a University-State sponsored online community marketplace exclusively for faculty and staff and students’ families. It provides multiple quotes from local solar installers that allow participants to compare prices and find the best solar solution for their Connecticut homes.
The University of New Haven’s Solarize marketplace has opened on Energysage. Homeowners can now upload information to Energysage and begin to seek quotes from installers. There will also be events on campus to give homeowners more information about the program. The following events will be taking place at the University of New Haven, 300 Boston Post Road, West Haven.

Energysage is a great tool for comparing solar quotes and learning about how it all works. It can feel overwhelming at first, but luckily they have created a series of videos to help homeowners make sense of it. They also have a helpful solar advisor, who can answer any questions, impartially, that you may have.
The Solarize U programs for Wesleyan and Eastern Connecticut State University have already launched. Yale and Uconn are slated to launch soon, so keep checking the Solarize CT website for more information!
With a New Haven-based office, we are especially looking forward to our collegiate neighbors at UNH and Yale encouraging solar!
