Our Services

Our Solar Maintenance Service Department

The Sunlight Solar Service Department handles solar panel maintenance and repairs for systems across Central Oregon, including systems we installed and, in many cases, systems installed by others. Our solar panel maintenance work includes performance monitoring, panel cleaning guidance, inverter service, wiring checks, and battery system support. Regular solar panel maintenance protects your production, your warranty coverage, and your long-term savings.

Because our monitoring tools show us how a system should perform, we can often spot a problem before you notice a change on your bill. When Sunlight Solar installs a system, our service is even faster, since we already have its design and history on file. Most homeowners do well with a periodic professional check rather than a fixed schedule, and we can recommend a cadence that fits your system and its setting. We will always give you an honest assessment of what needs attention now and what can safely wait.

Keep Your Solar System Performing at Its Best

Solar panels are durable and need little day-to-day attention, but a few things change over time. Inverters have a shorter lifespan than panels and eventually need replacement. Dust, pollen, wildfire smoke, and snow can reduce production. Nearby trees grow and create new shade, and wiring can loosen over years of temperature swings. A periodic check catches these early, before they quietly cost you production. Staying ahead of small issues is the most affordable way to protect a system meant to last decades.

Service covers panel checks, inverter and monitoring diagnostics, performance reviews, and repairs. If your system isn't generating the power it should, we'll find out why and fix it.
