Connecticut Offers Solar Hot Water Rebate

Governor Rell announced on October 14, 2009 that Connecticut residents can now take advantage of a state rebate for installing solar hot water panels on any residential or non-residential building.  The state has set aside $4 million in stimulus money to fund the rebates.  The funds will be administered by the Connecticut Clean Energy Fund (CCEF) which estimates that the money will fund 600 resdential and 120 non-residential hot water systems.

    Sounds like Connecticut is trying to compete with the Pennsylvania Sunshine Program! Glad to see states are moving on board to add renewable energy.
