Yale University to Study Solarize

Sunlight Solar has been a part of multiple Solarize CT campaigns since its inception. It is quickly becoming clear that the campaign is successful. Sunlight Solar’s Connecticut office neighbors at Yale University have taken note of this and begun a research study of the program. The three-year research project is a collaboration with Duke University, SmartPower, and the Connecticut Clean Energy Finance and Investment Authority (CEFIA).

The research process will involve numerous interviews with solar ambassadors, town leaders, solar installation companies, and town residents. The project will target the experiences of those involved with the program and understanding how they have made Solarize work. The outcome of the study will ultimately be a guide for policy-makers and leaders interested in designing accessible and effective clean energy programs, as well as a series of academic papers.
